Abstract
|
|
|
OBJECTIVES：Drug and cocaine addiction have affected serious problem in public health. In this article, we will outline the evidence from preclinical studies about acupuncture in treatment of oriental medicine.
METHODS：We browsed through official publications and research papers including keywords ``cocaine`` and ``acupuncture``, ``HT7`` in Pubmed and RISS.
RESULTS and CONCLUSION 1. Acupuncture at HT7 reduce cocaine-induced reinforcing and behavioral effects. 2. Acupuncture at HT7 after a systemic cocaine challenge inhibit TH expression in the VTA and c-Fos expression in the NAc.
